This week's Art 110 activity was called

This weeks Art 110 project was a death inspired portrait activity called Landscapes with a Corpse. This was such an interesting project because it really made me think about and confront my own death and mortality in a creative way. I honestly thought this activity was really fun and quite humorous. I originally came to the idea of doing a toilet death because I'm a musician and very passionate about music so I immediately thought to do this death portrait with Elvis Presley in mind. My thoughts were that I am dying of excess and being too intoxicated. Although I didn't choose to create a heroic death scene I felt that these pictures were powerful in showing a tragic mortal reality of musicians and young people.
